About the Recipe
One of my favourite things to make is enriched dough, perfect for sweet buns, Belgian buns, and cinnamon rolls. I use the same dough recipe here as I do for cinnamon rolls so you could always split the dough and make both! Sweet rolls are a Bethesda staple, seen in Fallout and Skyrim, and they are so easy to make if you have the patience to wait for your dough to rise.

Ingredients
Dough
500g strong white bread flour
1/2 tsp salt
50g butter
2 tbsp caster sugar
1 sachet (7g) instant yeast
1 egg (or 1tbsp plain yoghurt)
225ml warm milk
Topping
200g icing sugar
1 tsp water or lemon juice (more if needed for consistency)
Preparation
Melt the butter in warm milk. Add the salt.
Sift the flour, yeast and sugar in a bowl.
Put the wet ingredients into the dry, add your egg or yoghurt.
Knead the dough until it is smooth and not sticky.
Cover and leave to rise for up to three hours until it’s doubled in size.
Grease a muffin tin.
Bring out your dough and divide it evenly into 10 or so pieces. Use a scale to measure each one and ensure they’re the same size.
Shape them so they have a divot in the centre, place a piece of aluminium foil in the centre to keep the divot, and place them in the muffin tin.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
Make your icing by adding a small splash of water or lemon juice to icing sugar and creating the consistency you enjoy.
Remove the buns from the oven, and take the foil out of each one. Leave the buns to cool.
Drizzle icing all over them, filling the divots, and enjoy!
